Hello all.

I have a new to me 78 westy and need to replace all fuel lines before I try to start it.  Will 1/4" hi pressure fuel line work for 7mm ID hose called for on Ratwell?  Metric is not avilable in my area, so I was curious if I could substitute the 1/4 for the 7mm and 3/8 for 10mm?

I want to do this correctly, but if this is a bad idea, please speak up!

thanks Juggle

As far as I am concerned , yes you can . That's what I've done and don't forget the hose clamps .

Wizzard  Thanks Wiz!  I'll do that to get it started and if I feel it runs lean because of the size diff, I'll swap it out once I find the correct 7 and 10mm. 38

I used those on my buddy's '77, but I've yet to actually drive it.  It was a bit tight getting that "10mm" on though...

Hey Dj:Eep,

Would it be safe to say that they are still on there and the bus is running?  If so, sounds like success to me!

Thx
