Nice Bug there MickeyT.  '62?   Thumbs up! 2

My work and hobby collide too.  I use Navin to deliver stuff all over Eugene, and take Geri Lou on the service calls that are off in the boonies.  GL loves the boonies.

Hey Djeep

Used to live live in Eugene myself-'67 to '74 as a kid, attended Edison Elem. and Roosevelt JH.  Used to go to track meets--was one of Pre's people--big time, met him several times, played b-ball with him--he was amazing and connected with people in an amazing way.

I used to live in the Amazon Housing Project on Patterson-graduate student housing for UO back then--gone now, and at 33rd and Kincaid.  We could conceivably move back as it's one of my favorite places to be!  You are a lucky dude!  Did you grow up there?

Glad to be here@LMB,

Anthony

Hey Anthony, I'm Anthony Hi

And I actually just moved here about two months ago.  I'm a born n' raised San Franciscan, actually.  But it was way too $$$ there to survive, so me, m'lady and a dog split for Oregon in a coupla buses.

I do know the places you speak of already tho 3 and man is this place Bus Central, USA.  I see at least 3 a day, not counting mine, and sometimes many more!

Eugene has always been bus central! 45  Lot's of old hippies and kindred folk--one of the coolest things about the place. Very wholesome, crunchy town.  I get down at least once a year.

My business card has Doggie on the front, and in Seattle, I stick one under a wiper blade of cool buses I see--sort of a combination solidarity/marketing thing. Doggy

Damn hard to find good work here though.  This delivery thing is the best I've found so far.

Hey DJ:Eep--

Check out my business, www.leftcoastdogs.com.  I'd restart this business in ANY city.  You're a dog man.  Dogs love buses.  I'm doing pretty well, and I can help you get started.  I set my own schedule, take off when I need and answer only to my clients.  It allows me the flexibility I need for my interests.  It's not a business that requires big start-up money.  It's hugely satisfying and I hang out with dogs.  Doggy  It's perfect for me!

Thought for food!

I would like to do something like that.  I'm not good at being an "underling".  But it'll have to wait until I have a little start-up money.  Right now I'm living on oatmeal and costco pizza, hoping payday comes soon....
