25 to 30 mph sustained winds, 35 to 45 mph gusts here today. I thought my new RA08 Hankooks would help stabilize the ride....at least a little bit....on windy days. WRONG!  Shocked I think from now on I'll just leave her in the garage on days with winds above 20 or 25 mph.   p16

You could tell the difference if you had two identical busses with different tires. I belive the RA-08's probably did help but , those are high winds when you're driving a bus.

BTW- we're in Shreveport and had some pretty good winds too!

How Decatur TX from Shreveport?

How Decatur TX from Shreveport?

we're about 40 minutes NW of Ft. Worth so about 4 - 4 1/2 hours west of Shreveport (?) (haven't been there since they opened the casino in OK, just over the TX / OK border)

That's cool! It's nice to know there's someone else on here that's not way up there in the north or west.

Maybe our paths will cross Thumbs up! 2

On windy days I keep below 50mph...and try to avoid the highways.  I almost got blown off the highway right after I got her.  I saw it was windy and thought it would be "fun" to drive in the gusty wind.  It was scary.  Below 50 mph I do OK.  Above 50, I fear a gust at the wrong time could spell BIG trouble.  SOMEWHERE in the Muir book he says he HAD been blown off the road in a bus...so watch out!

I too have the RA08's and like'em!

around town we did fine. I think OVER confidence in the new tires lured me out on the flat, straight, nothin to block the wind, TX highway.  eusa_doh

The RA08's are great
