ALL sub compacts did.

look for 12500$ brand new and 35-40mpg, a/c, rear defrost/wiper,  cd player. i won't complain

and lets face it it IS a toyota... made in japan even.

i love consumer reports but somethimes they don't make sense. i bet they rated the 12mpg cadillac escalade at the top of the line!

this country needs to refocus on economical cars not hummer h123's and monster pickup trucks. everyone cries that the government needs to lower gas prices yet they drive their bigas truck to commute from home to work and never even throw in so much as a 2x4! or pebble of gravel!

i just drove 900 miles to my brothers funeral and it cost me less than 100 bucks in fuel!

I like them. I think the complaints were on ride quality and finish and fit. But I agree with you, besides they are pretty cool looking cars.

Sorry, I was wrong. It was the Aveo they didn't like. Go Yaris. hehehe.

i think they did bash the yaris as well for its size and having a rear solid axle instead of fully independent rear!

my ride quality is not up to factory snuff...i put fully adjustable coil overs on it which stiffens it up and rear sway bar so now it handles like a go kart! he he he he... 100 hp and 2200 pounds! LOL

Was a while since this post  The VW Bus frappr!!! I just checked it out- its getting mighty big! I wreckon theres members on every continent now..almost!
