Well on Friday I said good by to my first VW, a 1987 cabriolet. Some of you may remember that last winter the block froze causing me multiple problems. Well, I never tore the head down and have now lost my garage space as we are in the process of moving downtown. So I decided to sell it to a local college student. He is planning on striping the car down and using the parts on his '84 GTI. I am sorry to see the cabby go but it was not being useful just sitting in my garage for 9 months either. It will now be used to get at least 3 VW's back on the road, a worthy death for a worthy car. I will post pics of the farewell when the guy sends them to me.
