Removing Backing Plate
« on: September 04, 2009, 12:12:58 PM »
I am redoing my brakes, and I have removed everything from the backing plate. I want to take it off so I can clean it, and re paint it. How do I remove the Emergency brake cable from the backing plate?

should be a bolt on the back side of the plate.....  :102: and wiggle-wiggle....  :eusa_dance:

It does not look like there is a bolt. I tryed to pull the brake cable out of the rubber hose, hoping that would do something, but the cable wouldn't even come out. So I'm still stumped.
