IF you have an electrical/battery generated fire source you will HAVE TO disconnect your batt. right now! so i suggest you fit a.s.a.p. a quick release batt. terminal , as i did which contained the elec.generated problem in my bus to a melt down of a sub section of the loom> think about it guys , old bus usually means old patched wiring and p/o"s added aftermarket elec. parts ? who has done a total safety check on their bus wiring ? and i do not mean does all the elecs work? =good elecs!!! when my bus began filling up with smoke as i drove ,i had presence of mind to realise as i could smell no fuel it must be an elec. situation (gone wrong!) so braked&handbreak>out bus to rear of bus >opened hatch and unscrewed quick release terminal>>total time >>8-12 seconds >against ,getting out tool bag ,finding correct spanner.,attempting to detatch batt term???how long would that have taken?>2 long ! act today guys !!!
