Im not a fan of the beatles- prefer the rolling stones- the beatles were too polished and clean as was their music. Lennon however really touched me with one song and that was Imagine. Really love that song it has an amazing depth- the tone of that piano the whole thing- even the video with yoko lerking around is ok.
Guess if anything mccartney did was cool it has to be the frog song of which i possess a studio tape copy given by macca himself- theres a story of how it came into my posession but its not that amazing so i wont tell you!

I'm all about Tomorrow Never Knows.  I can just see the teeny bopper heads popping when the got to the end of Revolver and heard that.

And both those stores are gone now Wiz  :010:  You were thinking of Recycled Records on Haight & Masonic.  But now there is Ameoba and the have everything.

listening to samples from it on Amazon now.  I like it, sounds like some of the stuff I play, I'm sure it has been sampled for such use...

I just joined the MB & have been reading some of the old posts. John Lennon was awesome & I am a fan.  I also have a lot of Van Morrison work. I knew he brought out an album every couple of years but that is one impressive list.  I'm a Belfast boy so a lot of his music has a special meaning to me. Thanks for posting the list.  It shows me what I need to get.
