Currently getting a sputter on the 1/2 cylinder side as evidenced from feeling and hearing a miss in the exhaust. I know my mixture isn't at the lean best idle and my timing could be a bit off since I just tuned to ear to try to get rid of the miss but that didn't work. It kinda sounds like a miss and a small backfire since the hit following the miss is louder than the rest.

Any ideas?

Just readjusted the valves, maybe I didn't lock one of them down good enough, I'll check it out and post the results, I dont think that is it though.

Well I adjusted the timing and the point gap and plan on a test drive tomorrow to see if the correction helped.
