I think I brained my damage.

Here's one for ya's.  Last guy I showed it to said, "Well, it sure is making a noise..."

When it's rainy outside (rain, in Oregon? Never.) and the headlights are on, Geri Lou makes this faint "chyew-chyew-chyew" sound.  Kinda  like a kid making a "laser beam" sound. When I turn off the lights, it slowly fades out, like, "chyew- chyeeew----chyyyeeeeeewwww----------chyyyyyeeeeeeeeewwwwww..........."

Gotta be water getting into the switch or something, but???

CHANGE THOSE FUEL LINES, ALL OF THEM.

You sure "noise when wet" belongs in the child boards? Does the noise go in time with the wipers? I know you said headlights but when you have wipers and headlights on at the same time there are more amps being drawn through the fuse panel. Maybe a false ground happening up under there. A false ground is when the proper ground isn't good enough and the current finds another way to ground sometimes through another circuit. I would check the grounds for headlights and wipers.

 LOL

I thought that same thing after I posted it...  Oh well, the "children" probably won't get it anyway.

The wipers have nothing to do with it, I usually use Rain-X, since I hate flicking the wipers on and off constantly, and leaving them on in a drizzle sucks.

It is quiet, so it is most noticeable when parking, just after engine shut-off, but before hitting the light switch.  At first I thought it was just coincidence, the connection between the lights, and the noise, but I've pretty much nailed down that they are the source.

Geri Lou's under-dash wiring is a mess.  I've been meaning to clean it up since I got her, but something more pressing always comes up.

As for wipers, don't try and listen to AM radio with the wiper on!  rrrrnnnnn-rrrrnnnnn, rrrrrnnnnn-rrrrrrnnn

I  have   a   simular   issue.  I   have   halogen   sealed   beams.  The   passenger   side  doesn't    seal,   water   gets  in   and   sizzles   on  the   hot   bulb.   Why   the   bulb   hasn't   blown   I   don't   know.   It's   done   this  for   years!
