I posted this once before but cannot seem to find it.

None of my blinkers are working. It was suggested that the hazzard flash switch was separated. I checked this and it was. I put it back together and wire tied it in place. Still nothing. Any suggestions on what to look at next?

Thanks.

I am not positive on a bus, but on my rabbit there was a wire that fed into the back of the hazards that when it came loose would prevent the indicators from turning on. I would consult the Bentley manual and verify that everything that is supposed to have power at the emergencies does.

I had a problem with the blinkers - I would turn the blinkers on and nothing would happen except the dash arrow going solid. I found a used hazard/blinker switch from a junker bus for $10 - these switches are at least $50 each anywhere else. problem solved (for me).

I am getting nothing when I try the blinker. I will head to the Junk Yard and get one and see what happens. There just happens to be a 77 Westy sitting there.

I think the switch is the same for 73-79, I cut the wires above it so I could see to match up colors etc....
I assumed you checked fuses? (i know, duh right?)
Next I would check where the wires go into the back of each blinker assembly.

One or all of the previous owners of this bus loved to add anything with wires to this bus. It had more add on lights and cigg lighter things than one bus should ever have. It even had an old Umbro Alarm system with a pager with no display on it.

My son and I also noticed that the driving lights do not come on but the head lights work. I guess we are just going to have to start tracing wires.   Eek!
