CHANGE THOSE FUEL LINES, ALL OF THEM.

This is a fun thread! It's nice to read about everyone up here and actually kind-of meet everyone! Smiley

I'm married and May will make 17 years. My husband Kevin will be 40 in April and I have just turned 38. We have two kids - Blake, who is 16 and Savannah, who is 11. We have two dogs: Stetson (fluffy Australian Shepherd mix) and Dub (who is a stocky dachshund/bassett mix). We have four cats at home currently - Salem, Emmy, PeekABoo, and Bosch and one shop cat - Passat.

My husband is a mechanic and we own a little aircooled shop in Houston. He does a little of everything plus all the under-car acrobatic stuff. I mainly do engine work and bookkeeping stuff (and I make a mean pot of coffee!).... Bosch was the original shop cat and she was found on our shop property just under a week old without mom due to a horrible circumstance. She is spoiled beyond belief and has the confidence to accomplish anything (and most things!) so is no longer allowed to hang with us at the shop. I think if she were a little more fearful and a little less typical feline, she'd still be the shop cat. But we have been adopted by Passat, who was born under the house at the shop and is the last of his little clan. He stays close, has learned to appreciate the finer things in life (like being petted and cuddled), and is very respectful of things like oil drain pans and goopy engine cases.

We have Woogie, who is a 1971 bus that was converted into a single cab by a previous owner. This is Kevin's daily driver. I think Woogie likes being the mechanic's helper..... he is a work horse and a great hauler of tool boxes and engines and other parts.

Enzo is my 63 beetle. He is still a work in progress, but he's nearing completion. He'll be my daily driver.

Cricket just came recently - a 64 single cab. I've got to get Enzo finished before I can really start doing anything with her. She'll be strictly for fun things, like cruises with the club and shows and things like that.

Lastly, we have Wink. Poor Wink has had it rough! Wink is my sandrail project. She is moving backwards as far as progress toward completion goes. She seems to be the parts donor....

Anyway, that's us. You may see Kevin up here every once in a while. He's Gekko up here on the forums.

Got any sisters? Drogar-SunGlass(LBG)

Sorry, I have no sisters. I have a brother, but that's not helpful in this case....

By the way, I noticed in my post that I named the husband, the kids, the dogs, the cats.... I forgot to list my name.

Hi! My name's Hilary and I'm a Volkswagen addict.
