Hi,
after stripping the whole interior and exterior to get rid of a lot of rust and preparing to do a paint job (inside and outside) on our new 75 bus during the summer, it finally started to rain a few days ago. And, of course, it is leaking. Two spots are at the rear swivel windows, but the mayor leaks are at both passenger and drivers doors. It leaks through the window seal into the inside of the door panel. Since there is no door cover anymore I can feel where it came from. The sliding window seal is not sealing properly, looks like. But it doesn't look too porous or too old.
I was wandering, wether it is normal to have water leaking into the inside of the door, because there is a plastic cover in the door, plus wholes in the bottom to let the water drip out. Is it normal? Are my seals not good anymore? Where can I buy new ones, that are not too expensive, but of long lasting quality?

You should replace the seals IF they are old, brittle, or torn.

But yes, the leaking is completely normal.  It's handled just as you mentioned.  This is the perfect illustration as to why you should NEVER stuff your doors full of insulation or anything else that can trap the water and give it an opportunity to start rusting.
